Overview

As a GO Software Engineer at Conexess Group, you will engage in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of high-performance applications within a cloud environment. Your role will involve implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, streamlining Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes, and utilizing modern container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Working 100% remotely, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable and efficient software solutions in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Go-based applications for various services and products.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate deployments.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Utilize Mongo Atlas for data storage management and optimization.
• Manage containerization and orchestration through Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with team members to design scalable architecture in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best coding practices.
• Debug and resolve issues in production and non-production environments.
• Participate in agile development processes and sprint planning meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software development with Go programming language.
• Strong understanding of IaC principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
• Familiarity with MongoDB and Mongo Atlas services.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services and architecture.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
