Sr. Golang Developer

Location: Dearborn, MI | Hybrid, 4 days onsite / 1 day remote

Duration: 12-month contract with extensions

Pay: $50-$74/hour

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Golang Developer to support a large automotive customer in Dearborn, MI. This individual will join the Developer Build System (DBS) team and contribute to the development of command-line tools that help manage the complexity of building and packaging software for Phoenix, ECG, TCU, and SYNC4.

The role will be involved throughout the software development lifecycle, including software architecture, development, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and products.
• Develop command-line tooling supporting software build and packaging processes.
• Contribute to software architecture and write production code.
• Test software for quality and deploy solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Work within an Agile development environment.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency with Golang.
• Experience with Python, Bash, and/or C/C++.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
• Experience with GitHub Actions.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong Agile methodology practices.

Nice to Have

• Degree in a related field.
• Experience with JFrog tools.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $50/hr to $74/hr.
