Role Description The Hardware Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX. In this position, the associate assists customers in selecting hardware and imaging-related products, explains product features and benefits, and provides accurate pricing and availability information. Daily tasks include greeting customers, answering questions in person and over the phone, preparing sales quotes, processing orders, and supporting basic product demonstrations. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly labeled and displayed, and coordinating with internal teams to fulfill customer requests. The Hardware Sales Associate is expected to deliver consistent, high-quality customer service and contribute to sales goals through professional, informed interactions.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with a diverse range of customers and team members.
• Candidates should possess solid Sales skills, including the ability to identify customer needs, recommend appropriate hardware solutions, and close sales ethically.
• Candidates should possess professional Phone Etiquette skills for handling inquiries, follow-ups, and customer support over the phone.
• Candidates should possess basic knowledge of Paint and related supplies, or a willingness to learn product features, applications, and safety guidelines.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include prior retail or hardware sales experience, comfort working with point-of-sale systems, reliable time management, and the ability to stand, move, and lift moderate-weight items throughout the shift.
