About Us
We're a new beauty brand ripe to disrupt, currently in stealth, launching this fall.
The Opportunity
This is a founding-team seat, not a job req. You won't inherit a creator list, a CRM full of past partnerships, or a brand safety doc, you'll build all three from a blank page, and the taste level and trust you establish in year one will define how this brand shows up in the creator economy for years after. That kind of ownership is rare, and it comes with a real ask: we need someone who already has the hard skills: negotiation, casting instinct, program ops, budget discipline, to move fast and make excellent calls with imperfect information, because there's no five-person team above you to catch what slips. If you've been waiting for the version of your career where you're not managing someone else's ambassador program but building the one people study later, this is that moment.
The Role
We're looking for a sharp, relationship-driven Head of Influencer to build our creator and ambassador function from the ground up. You'll own the full lifecycle from sourcing and casting, negotiating and contracting, briefing and relationship management, performance tracking, and turn creator partnerships into one of our most efficient, credible growth channels. This is a strategy-first, hands-on role: you'll set the vision for who we work with and why, and you'll personally run point on our earliest, most important partnerships while we build out the team around you.
You'll work closely with the founders and Head of Social to make sure the creator strategy reflects the brand's voice and values: specific, credible, never overselling, and partners tightly with Social, PR, and Paid to make every creator moment work harder across channels.
What You'll Do
Program & Strategy
- Build the influencer/creator program from zero: tiering (founding creators, always-on ambassadors, one-off gifting), budget structure, and KPIs
- Define our point of view on who we work with: the creators, experts, and voices whose credibility actually transfers to the brand, and who we deliberately pass on
- Set and own performance goals: creator-driven sales/attributed revenue, content volume and usage rights, CAC by tier, community growth
- Build repeatable seeding, gifting, and affiliate motions ahead of launch, and always-on programs post-launch
Casting, Negotiation & Relationships
- Source, vet, and cast creators and experts across macro, mid-tier, and micro/nano tiers, with an instinct for who fits our tone versus who just has reach
- Lead negotiations and contracting, balancing budget discipline with the relationships that matter most long-term
- Own creator relationship management - the kind of trust that gets you into a creator's Notes app, not just their inbox
- Brief creators on brand voice, claims guardrails, and creative direction so content feels native to them and unmistakably ours
Cross-Functional & Reporting
- Partner with Social, PR, Paid, and Creative to integrate creator content into campaigns, launches, and always-on content pipelines
- Manage budget, contracts, usage rights, and platform/affiliate tools (e.g., GRIN, Aspire, CreatorIQ, or similar)
- Report regularly on program performance and translate results into recommendations for where to double down
What We're Looking For
Required
- 5+ years in influencer/creator marketing, including building or significantly scaling a program - ideally in beauty, wellness, or consumer goods
- Deep, hands-on TikTok experience: sourcing and briefing TikTok creators, running TikTok Shop/affiliate or Spark Ads programs, and reading the platform's trends and algorithm well enough to cast ahead of them
- Track record negotiating and managing creator relationships and budgets end-to-end
- Sharp casting instinct - you can tell the difference between reach and relevance, and you protect the brand's credibility accordingly
- Fluency in affiliate/influencer platforms, contracting, usage rights, and FTC/disclosure basics
- Excellent relationship-builder - creators and their teams trust you and want to work with you again
- Comfortable building from nothing: no legacy roster, no existing process, no brand recognition to lean on yet
- Highly organized and self-directed, able to run a full program with a lean team in a fast-moving startup environment
Nice to Have
- Experience launching a brand from stealth or pre-launch through a public debut
- Existing relationships with experts and credible voices adjacent to our world
- Experience with performance/affiliate-driven creator programs (not just gifting)
- Background at a founder-led or prestige beauty brand
- A genuine point of view on what makes creator marketing feel earned instead of transactional
