Information Security Analyst IV

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a n Information Security Analyst for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier banking clients in Cincinnati, OH - hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and maintain security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and sensitive data.
• Monitor and analyze security threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging cybersecurity risks.
• Research and evaluate new technologies to help prevent data loss and service disruptions.
• Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Conduct risk assessments and security testing of systems and applications.
• Implement and support security controls, including firewalls, encryption, and identity management solutions.
• Recommend security improvements, tools, and best practices to strengthen the organization's security posture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security standards and policies.
• Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees.
  
  

Required Skills:

• Experience with Identity Platforms and Information Security technologies.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and security best practices.
• Experience performing risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and security testing.
• Knowledge of firewalls, encryption technologies, and access management controls.
• Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud security concepts and technologies.
• Experience with security monitoring, incident response, and threat detection tools.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or similar.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and security frameworks.
• Experience developing and delivering security awareness training programs.
