Overview

As an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) at OneZero Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's information systems against cyber threats. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security architectures that align with organizational goals.
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities in systems and applications.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
• Monitor network traffic and systems to detect and respond to security breaches or incidents.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations of systems and applications.
• Utilize security tools and technologies to enhance the organization's security capabilities.
• Prepare and deliver security training and awareness programs for employees.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and industry trends to proactively mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security engineering or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS.
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM solutions.
• Experience with network protocols and various systems, including Windows and Linux environments.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical personnel.

Technologies & Tools

As an ISSE at OneZero Solutions, you will leverage a variety of technologies and tools including, but not limited to, endpoint protection software, vulnerability assessment tools, SIEM systems, firewalls, and encryption technologies. Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell may also be beneficial for automating security tasks and analyses.
