About the Opportunity:

The IT MANAGER role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT operations and security for a growing, distributed team. This hands-on position manages user lifecycle and identity and access management, device and endpoint security, and end-user support independently. The role is critical for maintaining secure and effective technology operations, enabling the organization to function smoothly and securely while supporting its mission.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as primary contact and escalation for all IT support requests
• Provide end-user support for Windows and macOS environments
• Troubleshoot connectivity, printing, email, and software issues
• Manage onboarding/offboarding processes and training for new hires
• Oversee identity and access management, including permissions and deprovisioning
• Administer Microsoft Intune, O365, and Microsoft Defender
• Enforce security policies across devices and applications
• Manage device inventory, procurement, and logistics
• Support Google Workspace users and SaaS tool maintenance
• Partner with the CISO on security and access matters

Requirements:

• 7+ years in IT support/operations, including sole or senior IT roles
• Experience managing IT functions in a startup environment independently
• Strong knowledge of security fundamentals and best practices
• Proficiency with endpoint protection, identity/access security, encryption, and patch management
• Ability to operate within a remote, multi-OS environment

Pay Range and Compensation Package:
