Java Developer/Tech lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer / Technical Lead to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and REST APIs, along with the ability to lead technical design, mentor developers, and deliver quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable and reliable microservices-based applications.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Work with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Implement coding standards, best practices, and secure development practices.
• Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and release management.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java, J2EE, and object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Technical Lead Requirements

• Experience leading development teams and guiding technical implementation.
• Ability to review code and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Experience with system design, application architecture, and performance optimization.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage technical deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies.
• Familiarity with Jenkins and automated deployment pipelines.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Typically 5–10+ years of Java development experience, with relevant technical leadership experience for the Tech Lead role.
