Java Full-Stack Engineer

Java Full-Stack Developer | Bay Area, CA

About the role

We’re looking for a Java Full-Stack Developer to join our team on a 2-year contract in the San Francisco Bay Area. You’ll build and ship features across the stack, and you’ll have the chance to grow into Python and AI/ML work as our projects evolve. Training and ramp-up support will be provided.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and modern front-end frameworks
• Build and consume REST APIs and microservices
• Collaborate with engineers, product, and data teams in an agile environment
• Learn and contribute to Python and AI/ML initiatives as the role grows
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code

What we’re looking for

• 2-5 years of professional experience in Java development
• Hands-on experience with Spring/Spring Boot and a front-end framework (React, Angular, or similar)
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, SQL/databases, and Git
• Exposure to Python.
• Curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn new technologies

Nice to have (not required)

• Interest in or experience with AI/ML, data pipelines, or LLM tools
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
