Overview

At HireMeFast LLC, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cloud Systems Engineer who will join our cloud infrastructure team. In this role, the successful candidate will assist in the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud-based systems. The Junior Cloud Systems Engineer will collaborate with senior engineers to ensure robust cloud solutions that meet the evolving business needs, while also taking part in troubleshooting, documentation, and project support to enhance our cloud capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and configuration of cloud infrastructure components.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues within cloud environments.
• Support the deployment and management of applications in cloud platforms.
• Document cloud architecture, workflows, and process improvements.
• Create and manage user accounts, access control, and permissions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of cloud solutions and services.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and apply best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience working with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, cloud storage, and virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Technologies & Tools

The Junior Cloud Systems Engineer will work with a variety of technologies and tools including but not limited to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana or CloudWatch will also be beneficial. Proficiency in version control systems like Git will aid in effective collaboration and project management.
