Overview

Team Remotely Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cloud Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and services. The Junior Cloud Systems Engineer will collaborate with senior engineers to ensure system reliability, performance, and security, while also gaining valuable experience in cloud technologies and best practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and deployment of scalable cloud solutions to meet organizational needs.
• Monitor cloud resources and usage, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues.
• Support the implementation of cloud security policies and best practices.
• Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud technologies into existing infrastructure.
• Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and provide recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) is preferred.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Technologies & Tools

The Junior Cloud Systems Engineer position will utilize a range of technologies and tools including, but not limited to, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and various scripting languages. Familiarity with configuration management tools and monitoring/logging systems is also advantageous in this role.
