Job Description

Company Description UAD Consulting provides business analytics and data-driven consulting services that help organizations transform complex data into clear, actionable insights. The firm’s work spans business analytics, data visualization, digital analytics, performance measurement, statistical modeling, and applied research, supporting clients in understanding performance and identifying opportunities. UAD Consulting combines rigorous analytical methods with a practical understanding of business objectives, economics, and decision-making. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all solution, the team selects methods and tools that fit each organization’s data environment and goals. Its toolkit includes SQL, Python, R, SPSS, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, BigQuery, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and Adobe Analytics.
Role Description The Junior Data Analyst internship is a remote role focused on supporting data projects across analytics, reporting, and visualization. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and cleaning data from various sources, conducting basic exploratory analysis, and preparing datasets for use in dashboards and reports. The intern will assist in building visualizations, documenting methods and workflows, and helping senior analysts translate business questions into measurable metrics. The role also involves supporting digital analytics tracking, validating data quality, and summarizing findings in clear, structured formats for internal stakeholders. This is an internship position with opportunities to learn modern analytics tools and contribute to real client work in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
  • Foundational analytical skills in statistics, data exploration, and quantitative problem-solving.
  • Experience or coursework with data tools such as Excel and at least one of SQL, Python, or R.
  • Interest in data visualization and familiarity with tools like Tableau or Power BI is beneficial.
  • Awareness of digital analytics concepts and platforms (e.g., GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to document work clearly, and commitment to data quality.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain findings in an accessible way.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time, and collaborate with a distributed team.
  • Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in data science, statistics, economics, computer science, business analytics, or a related field.
