Job Description

An employer is seeking a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer to join a cross-functional Scrum team building mission-focused software in an Agile DevSecOps environment. This role involves contributing to full-stack features, automating tests, documenting instructions, and supporting integration activities.

Build and deliver software in sprints, covering design, development, testing, documentation, and integration across front-end and back-end services.
Apply Agile engineering practices, participating in backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives.
Support DevSecOps workflows, utilizing Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.
Automate testing by creating unit/integration tests and simple scripts to enhance quality and repeatability.
Contribute to modernization efforts, assisting senior engineers in migrating legacy components to modern stacks and microservices.

What You'll Need

A Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
Coursework or hands-on experience in Java (Spring/Spring Boot), Python (FastAPI or Flask), or JavaScript/TypeScript (React ecosystem or Angular).
Core skills in REST/JSON fundamentals, basic Git usage, familiarity with Agile/Scrum, and exposure to Docker.

What's On Offer

Target salary range of $80,000 - $128,000 per year.
