Job Overview

At HireMeFast LLC, we are seeking a highly motivated Junior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic remote team. Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to support and improve infrastructure and application performance.
• Monitor system health and performance, conducting regular audits to identify potential issues.
• Assist in designing, building, and maintaining automation scripts for deployment and monitoring.
• Implement incident response and management processes to ensure quick resolution of issues.
• Generate reports on system metrics and contribute to regular status updates for management.
• Participate in on-call support rotation to address critical system alerts and incidents.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of system documentation and operational guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems and basic command-line tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Understanding of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Basic understanding of networking protocols and web technologies (HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP).
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Technologies & Tools

The Junior Site Reliability Engineer will work with a variety of technological tools and platforms, including but not limited to cloud services (such as AWS or Google Cloud), container orchestration frameworks (like Kubernetes), monitoring and logging tools (such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack), and version control systems (Git).
