Junior Software Engineer

A government services contractor is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to support a defense-related program by maintaining and modernizing cloud-based applications. The Role

• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and debugging.

• Maintain and enhance existing Java-based applications within a cloud environment.

• Develop technical designs and recommend process improvements to increase application efficiency.

• Collaborate with technical leads to troubleshoot issues and support ongoing modernization efforts.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

• An active or interim Secret security clearance.

• At least 1 year of relevant IT experience with a solid foundation in Java software design and development.

• Familiarity with software development lifecycles and web-based or cloud-hosted systems.
