Position Overview

KPG99 INC. is seeking a skilled Kubernetes Engineer who will be responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable Kubernetes infrastructure. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our container orchestration platforms. You will be instrumental in implementing best practices for containerization, monitoring, and automation within our cloud-native development environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters to support development and production environments.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Kubernetes deployments.
• Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines to facilitate automated deployments.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications within the Kubernetes environment.
• Implement security best practices for containerized applications and Kubernetes environments.
• Document processes and provide training for team members on Kubernetes best practices.
• Assist in the evaluation and adoption of new technologies to improve infrastructure efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in managing and deploying Kubernetes clusters.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with networking, storage, and security methodologies in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
