Starting: Up to $127,462.40, depending on years of service/qualifications

Benefits

Generous time off allowances:

80 vacation hours year one, 120 hours year two
80 hours of comp time
96 hours of annual sick time, which carries over annually and is paid out at retirement
Six floating holidays annually

Top pay at Step 6 ($135,886.40 in new contract)
Overtime details are paid at top patrol overtime rate, regardless of years of service
Additional pay for participating in internal/external specialties or assignments

Lateral Applicants Must

Have at least two years of experience as a full-time sworn Illinois peace officer
Not have been separated for more than two years
