POSITION OVERVIEW

Seeking a Lead Full Stack Java Developer with 12+ years of experience to join the Enterprise Technology Services engineering team. Reporting directly to the Engineering Lead, the successful candidate will drive end-to-end delivery of cloud-native full stack solutions, establishing architecture standards and modernizing core integration capabilities. They will solve complex scalability, performance, and security challenges using AI-assisted engineering practices, microservices, and AWS-managed infrastructure.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads end-to-end delivery of full stack solutions using Java Spring Boot, GraphQL/REST, and AWS-managed services, from architectural design through production support.

• Drives architecture and design reviews, defining service boundaries, API contracts, data models, and enterprise integration patterns.

• Develops secure, high-quality, production-grade code while establishing CI/CD practices, code quality gates, and AI-assisted workflows (Claude/Copilot).

• Builds and maintains highly available, scalable, and event-driven services using AWS MSK (Kafka), AWS Aurora PostgreSQL, and AWS Neptune.

• Implements and governs enterprise authentication/authorization protocols using OIDC/OAuth2, JWT validation, scopes/claims, and service-to-service security patterns.
