Overview

At Home Therapies is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a part-time basis. Job Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist.

• Provide therapeutic interventions, including exercises and manual therapy techniques.
• Educate patients and their families about exercises, postural alignment, and preventative care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for therapy practice in compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Attend continuing education opportunities to stay updated with the latest techniques and practices in physical therapy.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Prior experience in a clinical or home health setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and patient care protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
