Role Overview: This position involves independently displaying and stocking products, ensuring store profitability, and adhering to safety and food safety standards. The associate greets customers, answers product-related questions, and processes transactions efficiently and courteously.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers, assist with product information, and handle purchases using scanning equipment.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock, documenting any damage.
Organize shelves and displays, rotate and price products, and monitor inventory levels.
Perform cycle counts, code merchandise, and ensure product quality by visual inspection.
Update merchandise data in the system, reconcile receipts, and generate reports.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and assist in maximizing product sales through suggestions and information.
Follow safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines, and assist in other department tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

High School Diploma preferred.
Experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
Strong verbal communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of regulations related to alcohol and tobacco sales; familiarity with wines, spirits, and beer is helpful.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in a retail environment with varied temperatures and conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for disabilities.
