Pay Rate: $29.00–$33.32/hour – Based on experience (Paid Weekly)

Role Overview

BEPC is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support our client's pharmaceutical logistics and inventory operations in South San Francisco, CA.

This role involves shipping and receiving, hazardous materials handling, international shipments, clinical drug product distribution, and inventory control in a regulated environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of relevant experience, strong organizational skills, and an understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and shipping documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Process shipments of hazardous materials, R&D materials, and product samples.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including packaging and shipping documentation.
• Receive and distribute finished goods, work-in-process (WIP) inventory, and packaging components.
• Pick, pack, and ship clinical drug products to domestic and international destinations.
• Process rejected, returned, or expired drug products and coordinate approved destruction activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Use inventory management systems, RF scanners, and internal databases to track materials.
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
• Safely operate warehouse material-handling equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and compliant warehouse work areas.
• Support SOP improvements and assist with training new team members.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory control, or related operations.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and inventory control procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to use computer systems and maintain accurate documentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to meet TSA requirements, including successfully completing a background check.
• Ability to complete the Certified Cargo Screening Program (CCSP).
• Willingness to work occasional overtime.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in South San Francisco, CA.

Preferred Qualifications

• IATA certification or experience handling hazardous materials shipments.
• Experience with international shipping documentation and regulations.
• Experience operating warehouse material-handling equipment.
• Experience with pharmaceutical logistics, clinical drug product distribution, or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with SOPs, inventory reconciliation, and RF scanning systems.
