Role Description This part-time remote Machine Learning Engineer role at Chaque Jour Un CV focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning models that improve the platform’s matching and recommendation capabilities. The Machine Learning Engineer will work with large datasets to identify patterns, build and refine neural network architectures, and develop efficient algorithms for real-time inference. Daily responsibilities include experimenting with new models, evaluating performance using statistical methods, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to integrate models into production systems. The role also involves documenting pipelines, monitoring model behavior, and continuously iterating to enhance accuracy, fairness, and scalability.

- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Algorithms, with the ability to design efficient, scalable solutions.
- Proficiency in Statistics and Pattern Recognition for analyzing data, validating models, and interpreting results.
- Hands-on experience with Neural Networks, including training, tuning, and deploying deep learning models.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language commonly used in ML (e.g., Python) and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Experience working with real-world datasets, data preprocessing, and feature engineering.
- Understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and code review.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
