Position: Machine Learning Engineer - Python

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and validate machine learning models and model components.
• Build and improve model training pipelines, inference systems, and supporting infrastructure.
• Implement data pipelines, evaluation systems, numerical methods, and reproducible ML workflows.
• Use Python and command-line tools to solve complex engineering problems.
• Debug numerical errors, performance bottlenecks, memory issues, and system-level failures.
• Optimize model execution, computational efficiency, memory usage, and throughput.
• Create, solve, review, and validate challenging machine learning engineering tasks.
• Verify that implementations meet defined correctness, reproducibility, and performance specifications.
• Use coding agents effectively to support coding, debugging, implementation, and validation workflows.
• Document technical approaches and ensure solutions meet project requirements.

Required Qualifications

• A master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
• Strong professional or research experience in Machine Learning.
• Advanced practical proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience using coding agents within a Python development workflow.
• Understanding of machine learning model development, training, inference, and evaluation.
• Experience building reproducible programmatic workflows using Python and command-line tools.
• Strong debugging, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently develop, test, review, and validate technically complex implementations.
• Ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work within defined task specifications.
