• z/OS System Programming & Architecture

• Sysplex & Infrastructure Management

Secondary (Good to Have):

• Data center migration and hardware/software upgrade experience.

• JES3 administration and mainframe ISV software management

POSITION OVERVIEW

Seeking an experienced Mainframe System / Network Architect with strong expertise in IBM z/OS system programming, mainframe networking, and enterprise infrastructure architecture. The ideal candidate will manage z/OS environments, design and maintain Sysplex configurations, optimize system performance, and ensure high availability, security, and disaster recovery across development and production environments.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain z/OS environments.
• Design and manage Sysplex architecture, LPARs, and CFRM policies.
• Administer mainframe networking, including VTAM, TCP/IP, SNA, and OSA.
• Perform system performance analysis, capacity planning, and WLM tuning.
• Manage SMP/E maintenance, RSU updates, JES3, and ISV software.
• Lead infrastructure modernization, hardware upgrades, and data center migrations..
