Job Overview

Jobot is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual Software QA Engineer (SDET) to join our dynamic team. Job Responsibilities

• Design and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on functional requirements.
• Perform manual testing of applications including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects in a bug tracking system.
• Collaborate with the development team to interpret requirements and troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Conduct peer reviews of test cases and testing documentation.
• Assist in maintaining the test environment and test data for full coverage of test scenarios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of manual testing experience, preferably in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with writing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Proficient in using bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
