Job Title: Marketing Manager

Location: Field-based across their clinics in the Florida Panhandle (Pensacola, Miramar Beach, Panama City, Marianna) and on the Mississippi Gulf Coast (Gulfport, Pascagoula). The candidate must live within driving distance of the clinics. Some evening and weekend events.

The company

Medical marijuana certification clinics: their doctors evaluate patients and certify them for a state medical marijuana card. They were founded in 2016 and have 6 clinics plus telehealth, with more clinics and states coming.

Must have (screen out anyone without these)

• HubSpot, hands-on: they built and ran it themselves (email marketing, workflows, automation, reports). This one is non-negotiable.
• 3+ years of digital marketing
• 3 to 5+ years of marketing in the cannabis industry, including the federal and state rules on cannabis marketing
• Has managed outside agencies or contractors (digital ads, SEO, social media, design)
• Google Analytics: reads traffic, conversions and campaign results, and reports on them
• Comfortable doing in-person outreach at dispensaries, doctors' offices and community events

Strong pluses

• Marketing across several locations or states
• Healthcare or medical practice marketing (patient referrals, patient retention)
• Knows the Panhandle or Gulf Coast market
• Writes content: blogs, patient education, website updates

What the job is

• Leads the entire marketing and sales effort, hands-on:
• Direct the team's in-person outreach by region, and build referral relationships with dispensary staff, doctors and community groups
• Represent the company at events, health fairs and expos, and help plan them
• Oversee the outside vendors for digital marketing, SEO and paid ads, social media and design
• Keep online listings current and answer online reviews
• Run HubSpot as the customer record
• Track outreach, partnerships and referrals, and report monthly numbers (Google Analytics and KPIs) to leadership
• Help open new markets as the company grows
