TreeServe
Full-time
Mid-Senior level

Jacksonville, FL
$80,000 - $120,000* / year (about $38–$58 an hour)

Job Description

TreeServe is looking for a sharp, entrepreneurial Marketing Manager who’s excited to build something from the ground up. This is a role where you get to write the playbook. You’ll have the autonomy, trust, and support to shape TreeServe’s marketing program and make a visible impact on the growth of the business.

You’ll own demand generation, campaigns, channel performance, content, and brand execution, with a clear focus on measurable results. You’ll also work closely with our sales and operating teams to improve lead generation, conversion, and the overall customer experience.

We’re looking for someone who sees a blank canvas and gets excited, not overwhelmed. Someone who is comfortable testing ideas, figuring out what works, building repeatable processes, and taking ownership without waiting for detailed direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Demand Creation

  • Develop and execute multi-channel lead generation campaigns to drive qualified sales opportunities.
  • Manage digital marketing initiatives including email campaigns, SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and paid advertising.
  • Design and implement strategies to increase inbound lead volume and improve lead quality.
  • Partner with sales leadership to establish lead qualification criteria and optimize lead conversion processes.
  • Analyze campaign performance and marketing ROI, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage marketing automation and CRM systems to support lead nurturing and pipeline growth.
  • Create and oversee content development that supports prospect engagement throughout the buyer's journey.

Sales & Marketing Alignment

  • Serve as the primary link between marketing and sales, ensuring alignment on revenue objectives and growth initiatives.
  • Develop reporting dashboards to track lead generation performance, conversion rates, pipeline development, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Identify market opportunities, customer trends, and competitive insights to support business growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic growth plans.
  • Maintain ownership of marketing-generated pipeline targets and contribution to overall revenue growth.

Campaign Execution & Channel Management

  • Plan, launch, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns across SEM, paid social, email, and digital
  • Build the channel mix largely from scratch, reducing reliance on expensive, hard-to-measure channels and replacing them with scalable, performance-driven alternatives.
  • Monitor campaign performance daily and make real-time adjustments to maximize ROAS, CAC, and conversion rates.

Trade Show & Event Marketing

  • Partner with operating companies to identify, plan, and execute trade show and industry event opportunities that generate qualified leads and support business growth.
  • Coordinate event preparation, promotional materials, and lead follow-up, and track and evaluate return on investment (ROI) to measure effectiveness.
  • Attend and lead trade show initiatives as appropriate.

Brand Consistency & Creative Coordination

  • Ensure all marketing assets - ads, landing pages, emails, content are on-brand.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to maintain a consistent, premium brand voice across every customer touchpoint.
  • As the primary marketing voice internally, you'll set the standard and uphold it.

Data, Analytics & Optimization

  • Build and own performance reporting across all channels. Create the dashboards, establish the KPIs, and translate data into clear decisions.
  • Drive CRO improvements and attribution modeling to strengthen traffic-to-subscriber conversion.
  • Bring a test-and-learn mindset: hypothesize, run the experiment, report the result, iterate without needing someone to greenlight every move.

AI-Powered Marketing

  • Actively use AI tools to accelerate content production, improve audience segmentation, personalize messaging, and automate where it makes sense.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on emerging tools and proactively bring new ideas and platforms to the team.

Content & Thought Leadership

  • Build and own TreeServe's content calendar, including blog posts, lead magnets, email sequences, and social content, with an emphasis on educational, inspiring, and community-driven storytelling.
  • Help establish TreeServe as a trusted, authoritative voice in our industry through smart content distribution and consistent engagement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales to align on lead quality, messaging, and follow-up, ensuring marketing efforts drive real pipeline results.
  • Support M&A integration efforts as needed, helping bring acquired brands into TreeServe's marketing ecosystem seamlessly.

Why This Role Is Different

  •  You won’t be inheriting a finished marketing machine. You’ll be building one.
  • There is plenty to improve, test, and create, and you’ll have direct access to senior leadership and the opportunity to see the impact of your work across TreeServe and our operating companies.
  • If you want a highly structured role where the playbook has already been written, this probably isn’t it. If you want ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to build something that can scale, we should talk.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–6 years of hands-on marketing experience with direct ownership of campaigns and measurable results.
  • Experience building or significantly improving a marketing function, program, or channel.
  • Hands-on experience with paid search, paid social, email marketing, SEO, landing pages, and conversion optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with GA4, advertising platforms, CRM data, and spreadsheets.
  • Understanding of CAC, ROAS, CPA, conversion rates, and marketing attribution.
  • Strong writing and content skills. You should be comfortable creating compelling copy, not simply reviewing someone else’s work.
  • Practical experience using AI and marketing technology to improve productivity and performance.
  • Entrepreneurial and highly self-directed, with the ability to prioritize and execute without extensive oversight.
  • Strong communicator who can work effectively across sales, operations, leadership, and external partners.
  • Experience in B2C, home services, multi-location businesses, or field services is a plus.
  • Ability to travel periodically to TreeServe operating companies and industry events.
  • High standards of integrity and professionalism.

What Success Looks Like

  • More qualified leads reaching our sales teams.
  • Improved lead-to-appointment and lead-to-customer conversion.
  • Clear visibility into marketing spend, performance, and ROI.
  • Stronger inside sales execution and follow-up.
  • A more disciplined, measurable channel strategy.
  • Consistent brand execution across TreeServe and its operating companies.
  • Marketing that makes a measurable contribution to pipeline and revenue growth.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the workday.
  • Ability to climb stairs and perform occasional bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
  • Regular use of hands and arms to handle, reach, and operate office equipment.
  • Ability to read detailed information, including small print, and enter data into computer systems.
  • Ability to prepare written documents and reports using a computer or writing instruments.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and copiers.

Work Environment

  • In-person role based at TreeServe’s Jacksonville headquarters.
  • Primarily an indoor, professional office environment.
  • Occasional visits to operating locations where trucks, equipment, moving machinery, and varying weather or surface conditions may be present.
  • Occasional after-hours or weekend availability may be required for trade shows, events, or other business needs.
