Job Purpose Summary:

The Medical Assistant manages medication refills and complete vital signs. Support medication prescribers with day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities Include:

Manage medication refill line
Triage medication issues
Support with prior authorizations
Genomind ordering
Obtain vital signs
Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
Provide TMS treatment/mapping to patients according to protocols provided by mental health professionals
Coordination of care with medication prescribers and other team members
Ensure all client information is handled as sensitive and confidential
Maintain and order needed supplies
Work effectively as a member of a team
Create a supportive treatment environment and demonstrating compassion

Job Type: Full-time

Required education: High school diploma or equivalent

Required experience: 2-4 years’ experience working in mental health preferred.

Proper Knowledge and Skills:

Proper English and grammar, usage and spelling
Software application related to the field
General offices principles and practices
Basic computer knowledge including email etiquette
Professional phone and customer service demeanor

Physical requirements:

Must be able to lift 20-50 lbs.
Occasional to frequent walking, sitting, standing, driving
Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing)
Hearing and speaking sufficient to communicate with others
Gross and fine manipulations working with hands
Ability to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Keyboarding

Environmental Factors:

Environmental conditions may vary

Required licenses or certifications:

Current CPR Certification
Narcan Certified
