Overview

Sonitalent Corp is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing our development processes by integrating operations with development practices, fostering communication and collaboration across our teams, and improving the deployment pipeline. This role requires a solid understanding of cloud-based environments, CI/CD methodologies, and automation tools, enabling efficient and reliable software delivery and infrastructure management.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance and resolve issues for cloud-based and on-premise systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using relevant tools.
• Ensure consistent and secure configuration across environments through automation.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and architectures.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support system reliability and resiliency.
• Continuously evaluate and improve tools and processes to optimize DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, systems administration, or related roles.
• Proficiency with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
• Working knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
