Job Description

Litigation Associate – Philadelphia (Center City)

I’m recruiting for an established civil litigation/insurance defense firm in Philadelphia that is looking to add an Associate Attorney to its team.

This is a great opportunity for a litigator who wants substantive case experience, meaningful responsibility, and the ability to manage matters beyond just one piece of the litigation process.

What you’ll be doing

  • Handling a varied civil litigation caseload which includes sophisticated, complex, catastrophic, and high-value matters
  • Managing cases through different stages of litigation
  • Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other substantive filings
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Working directly with clients
  • Handling hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trial preparation/trial

What they’re looking for

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Pennsylvania Bar admission
  • Meaningful litigation experience
  • Strong writing, research, and case-management skills
  • Someone comfortable taking on meaningful responsibility for their cases and continuing to develop as a litigator

If you’re a litigator looking for a role where you can get substantive experience and continue building your skills, I’d love to connect.

Apply directly or reach out to me confidentially for more information. [email protected]
