Overview

The ML/AI Platform Engineer at SquarePeg will be pivotal in developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions. Job Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable machine learning infrastructure and pipelines that support the development and deployment of AI models.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand requirements and provide technical direction and solutions.
• Implement automated processes for model training, testing, and validation to increase efficiency and reproducibility.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of ML models in production environments, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
• Develop and maintain documentation on system architecture, design patterns, and implementation practices for team use.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in machine learning and AI technologies, applying best practices to our environment.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and interns within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on machine learning and AI.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, and experience with ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying ML solutions.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
