Job Description
About The Company
NuAxis Innovations is a federal IT company with a mission to make people and customer experience the center of every government solution. We believe technology is most effective when it is designed around the people who use it. Our team brings together engineers, creative thinkers, and problem-solvers who work collaboratively to help federal clients succeed. At NuAxis, technology is our passion, people are our purpose, and teamwork is part of how we deliver meaningful outcomes. We support one another, value different perspectives, and strive to create an environment where employees can do their best work.
About The Role
NuAxis Innovations is seeking a talented and motivated UI/UX Developer for a full-time opportunity. In this senior-level Developer III position, you will help lead the design, development, enhancement, operation, and maintenance of complex enterprise applications that support mission-critical business operations in a regulated environment. You will translate functional requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions, working across React-based user interfaces and modern .NET technologies. The role combines hands-on full-stack development with technical leadership, production support, performance improvement, and delivery pipeline ownership. You will collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver reliable solutions that meet user and client needs.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. Candidates should have at least six years of progressively responsible experience in software development, web application development, and application operations and maintenance. You should have demonstrated experience building, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining full-stack applications using C#, current .NET platforms, React, JavaScript, HTML, and RESTful APIs. Experience with enterprise application support, root-cause analysis, production troubleshooting, performance optimization, and technical-debt reduction is required. You should also be able to establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, quality checks, testing, packaging, deployment, and release validation, and apply secure development practices throughout delivery. Candidates must be able to meet Public Trust suitability requirements and U.S. citizenship requirements. Preferred experience includes Azure App Service, Azure Key Vault, application telemetry and monitoring, Azure Data Lake Storage concepts, infrastructure as code, containerized delivery, and observability tools. Azure Developer Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or comparable certifications are advantageous.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of complex full-stack applications using .NET, C#, RESTful APIs, and React. Convert functional requirements into technical designs, reusable components, data-access patterns, interface contracts, development estimates, and implementation plans. Evaluate existing architecture and resolve complex defects by identifying root causes, reducing technical debt, and improving reliability, maintainability, application performance, and response times. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support pull-request validation, linting, automated builds, unit and integration testing, artifact packaging, controlled deployments, and release verification. Apply secure software delivery practices, including code reviews, vulnerability and dependency remediation, secrets management, access controls, audit-ready change management, and automated quality gates. Use Azure services and application monitoring data to deploy, troubleshoot, and support reliable enterprise applications. Work closely with delivery partners to clarify requirements, remove technical blockers, and deliver quality outcomes. Mentor developers, reinforce engineering standards, conduct peer reviews, and provide technical guidance for application operations, maintenance, and modernization.
Benefits
NuAxis is committed to supporting employees and fostering a positive, collaborative workplace. Team members can contribute to meaningful federal programs while working alongside colleagues who value people, shared success, and professional growth. The company offers a benefits and culture program designed to support employees; details about available benefits can be discussed during the application process. Join a team that values both technical excellence and the people behind every solution.
Equal Opportunity
NuAxis Innovations is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation and applicable suitability requirements. We welcome qualified applicants who are interested in helping us make people the center of federal IT.
