JOB OPPORTUNITY
JOB TITLE: Nutrition Assistant III
SITE LOCATION OF POSITION: Standard Middle School Cafeteria
TERM/HOURS OF POSITION: 8 Hours Per Day
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Under the direction of the Nutrition Services Manager, assists in food preparation and maintenance of a school cafeteria; performs other work as directed.
Experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
5 years' professional experience in child nutrition service preferred.
Equivalent to completion of 12th grade.
SALARY: Range 15, $20.81 - $25.99 per hour based on 10 steps.
SCREENING PROCEDURES: Review of applications and personal interviews.
FILING DEADLINE: 4:00 p.m., November 2, 2026, or until filled.
OTHER COMMENTS: The applicant selected will be required to successfully complete a pre-placement medical assessment, TB clearance, and fingerprint clearance before being hired as a probationary employee.
