Job Description

Travel Oncology Registered Nurse provides compassionate, evidence-based care for patients receiving cancer treatment across hospitals and clinics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments safely.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring of side effects.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, symptom management, and care expectations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment plans and patient care.
  • Ensure safe medication practices and accurate handling of oncology therapies.
  • Maintain precise, up-to-date electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Current RN licensure with experience in oncology/infusion care preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment in managing treatment-related complications.
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary care environment.
  • Proficiency with EMR documentation and adherence to safety standards.
