Operations Specialist [84343]

This temporary position, Operations Specialist, offers an exciting opportunity to join our client’s global network operations team, supporting high-availability infrastructure and services for gaming platforms. Based remotely out of region, the role involves proactive monitoring, incident response, system and network troubleshooting, and process improvement to ensure service reliability across our clients worldwide infrastructure.

Operations Specialist Responsibilities:

• Monitor inbound communications and alerts to identify and track incidents.
• Act as a first responder to investigate and triage service issues.
• Drive incidents impacting players and users toward resolution.
• Manage stakeholder communications during major outages.
• Review and improve operational documentation, workflows, and monitoring processes.

Operations Specialist Qualifications:

• Experience with operating systems Linux, Bash scripting, and system debugging.
• Knowledge of network troubleshooting, including ACL management, packet loss analysis, and routing.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, and CloudWatch.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms AWS and GCP.
• Understanding of incident and event management frameworks, such as ITIL.
