CERTIFICATION Current and Valid Paraprofessional License

Requirements

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 175 Day - Full Time 9:05 am - 4:05 pm

START DATE: 08/18/2026

Minimum Qualifications/Required Skills

Current and Valid Paraprofessional License; 60 college credit hour or Work Keys Test/other ISBE requirement for obtaining Paraprofessional License.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities/Duties

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Ability to promote a safe environment including physical intervention as needed according to protocol.
Candidates with CPI training preferred or willing to train.
Ability to work as a cooperating member of a team and effectively communicate with students, teachers, parents and administration; Positive attitude and dependability a must.
Willingness or experience working with young children with special needs.

Pay And Benefits

$17.50/hour starting plus benefits. The District can provide additional credit to candidates who have prior work experience.
