Job Description

We are looking for a Parking Lot Attendant for a short-term Contract position based in Hayward, California. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a positive customer experience while helping coordinate day-to-day activity in a busy vehicle lot environment. The position combines front-line customer support with team coordination, attention to safety, and oversight of smooth traffic and parking operations.

Parking Lot Attendant Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily lot activity by guiding attendants, coordinating workflow, and helping maintain an orderly environment.

• Welcome visitors and drivers, respond to questions, and provide clear direction to support a positive service experience.

• Manage vehicle movement throughout the lot to keep parking organized and traffic patterns efficient.

• Promote compliance with safety standards and company guidelines during all lot operations.

• Address customer issues quickly and professionally, working to resolve concerns in a courteous manner.

• Inspect lot conditions and equipment regularly, escalating maintenance needs or potential hazards as needed.

• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or a related support role.
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to assist customers in a detail-oriented manner.
• Prior experience leading, supervising, or guiding team members is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Solid organizational skills and sound judgment when handling issues on the spot.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and working outdoors for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when needed.
