Job Description

Role Overview: This position leads daily department operations in a retail store, ensuring staff training, full staffing, adherence to company standards, and achievement of key performance indicators.

Responsibilities: Manage inventory, verify received orders, supervise stocking and production tasks, maintain product knowledge, and execute sales promotions and pricing strategies.
Ensure safety and food safety guidelines are consistently followed, maintain a clean and organized department, and support department goals and forecasts.
Assist in scheduling, labor control, and payroll management, and support staff development through training and performance management.
Participate in meetings, communicate plans effectively, and support implementation of company initiatives like core values and customer experience standards.
Handle additional tasks as needed, including cross-department support.

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent required; retail experience preferred.
Strong communication, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Leadership ability in a hands-on environment, with strategic planning and business acumen.
Knowledge of retail operations and management systems; proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Suggestive selling and product knowledge preferred; bilingual skills (Spanish) advantageous.

Physical & Additional Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied environments. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities. Travel may be required.
