Per Diem Behavior Health Technician (BHT)

SUMMARY

As a Behavior Health Technician (BHT), you will provide direct, one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment to children to help develop communication, daily living, cognitive, and social skills using evidence-based practices.

This position involves working under the direct supervision of a master’s-level qualified clinician who will guide, direct, and support BHTs in providing effective services to our clients.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work one-on-one with clients in school, home, or community settings, based on recommendations from the clinician.
• Implement instructional and behavior support plans while collecting important data during one-on-one sessions.
• Maintain client program books and materials.
• Assist clients with developing daily living, social, academic, communication, and play skills.
• Work collaboratively with families and other members of the treatment team to provide effective and consistent care.
• Occasionally travel to different locations as needed to provide services. You must be able to reliably travel to clients’ homes, schools, clinics, and other service locations.
• Mileage is reimbursed when traveling between patient homes for work-related purposes.

PAID TRAINING IS PROVIDED

We provide training to help you become comfortable and prepared for the position. This includes:

• Completing required training through our LMS (Learning Management System).
• Attending an in-person orientation.
