Role Description The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) is a full-time, on-site role based in Santa Ana, CA. This role involves assisting clients with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support. The PCA helps with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and support with safe transfers and ambulation. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring client well-being, following care plans, documenting services provided, and communicating any changes in condition to supervisors or family members. The PCA also provides companionship, encourages engagement in appropriate activities, and promotes a respectful, supportive environment.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in PCA and Personal Care Services, with experience supporting activities of daily living and maintaining client safety.
• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build trust, listen effectively, and interact respectfully with clients, families, and team members.
• Candidates should possess Personal Care skills including assistance with hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
• Relevant qualifications such as prior caregiving experience, home care or facility-based care experience, and knowledge of basic health and safety practices are beneficial.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include reliability, patience, cultural sensitivity, the ability to follow care instructions, and, where required, appropriate certifications, clear background checks, and authorization to work in the United States.
