Job Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment techniques as directed by the supervising therapist.
• Document treatment sessions and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with health regulations.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, home care techniques, and overall health improvement strategies.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area and ensure safe handling of equipment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to promote integrated care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interactions.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records.
