Job Overview

At Home Therapies is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a part-time basis. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to implement treatment plans designed to improve patients’ mobility, reduce pain, and restore function. Job Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment programs for patients.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the physical therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients during therapy sessions.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning discussions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification, preferred.
• Strong understanding of patient care principles and best practices in physical therapy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
