Job Overview

At Home Therapies is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a part-time basis. Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Instruct patients in exercises for rehabilitation and improvement of mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe techniques for exercise and daily activities.
• Document patient treatment sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of therapeutic equipment and supplies.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and progress.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong understanding of physical therapy treatment modalities and exercises.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a clinical or home health setting preferred.
