Job Overview

At Home Therapies is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) on a part-time basis to join our therapeutic team. Job Responsibilities

• Assist the licensed physical therapist in the development and implementation of individualized patient treatment plans.
• Administer physical therapy modalities such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities as instructed.
• Monitor patients' progress and document treatment notes in accordance with facility protocols.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and safety protocols.
• Maintain therapy equipment and ensure a clean and organized therapy environment.
• Provide encouragement and emotional support to patients during therapy sessions.
• Report patient progress and any concerns to the supervising physical therapist.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for documentation purposes.
