Dallas Healthcare Consultants is recruiting a Physical Therapist Assistant for a pediatric home health provider serving Cameron County. A full caseload is ready, with patients located throughout the territory from La Feria to Brownsville.

Compensation and Position Details

·        1099 contract option:

·        Salaried employment option available; compensation discussed during the interview process.

·        Biweekly direct deposit.

·        Online documentation through Healthtrust.

·        Pediatric visits in patients’ homes throughout the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

·        Provide treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

·        Implement interventions established in each patient’s plan of care.

·        Help children improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and everyday function.

·        Educate caregivers on prescribed home activities and safe techniques.

·        Communicate patient progress and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.

·        Complete accurate, timely documentation using Healthtrust.

·        Coordinate visits with families and manage the assigned travel schedule.

Qualifications

·        Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

·        Active Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license.

·        Ability to travel between patient homes throughout the assigned territory.

·        Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.

·        Ability to work effectively with children, caregivers, and the supervising Physical Therapist.

·        Pediatric or home health experience preferred.
