Platform Engineer

About the Opportunity:

The PLATFORM ENGINEER role focuses on building and maintaining foundational systems that enable engineering teams to deliver software efficiently and reliably. This position plays a key role in managing continuous integration and deployment systems and advancing the internal developer platform to improve the engineering workflow at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance CI pipelines across multiple repositories and teams
• Develop self-service tools, workflows, and automation within the internal developer platform
• Manage testing, documentation, and rollout of platform improvements and new tool integrations
• Write maintainable code using languages like Python, Go, or TypeScript
• Collaborate with teammates and internal stakeholders to improve developer experience
• Contribute to a platform supporting a large-scale engineering environment
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and pair programming
• Take ownership of platform areas with guidance from senior engineers

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of experience shipping production software with proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript
• Practical experience building or significantly modifying CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI
• Working knowledge of Docker, including writing and debugging Dockerfiles
• Experience owning a service, pipeline, tool, or library end to end
• Proficiency in Unix-like environments and version control using Git
• Systematic debugging skills, collaborative mindset, and strong communication abilities

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Base salary range from $130,000 to $165,000 annually
• Bonus program linked to company performance, with potential bonuses ranging from 20-30% and up to 90%
