Position Overview

Synergy Technologies is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with a focus on Systems Engineering and the Healthcare Domain to join our innovative team based in Jacksonville, Florida. Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable cloud architectures in alignment with healthcare requirements.
• Implement and manage cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify cloud solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure performance, security, and system reliability.
• Conduct regular audits and security assessments on cloud services and applications.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline operational processes and deployments.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and trends within the healthcare sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, preferably within the healthcare domain.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and data privacy practices.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Bash.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior Cloud Engineer will be required to work with a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, CI/CD tools, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and various monitoring and security tools integral to cloud architecture and healthcare systems.
