Overview

EDZ Systems is seeking a highly skilled Principal DevOps Engineer to lead our cloud engineering and development operations. Job Responsibilities

• Architect and implement automated deployment pipelines to streamline application delivery.
• Design, implement, and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with software development teams to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
• Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring high availability and responsiveness of applications.
• Lead incident management and root cause analysis to minimize downtime and improve system reliability.
• Guide and mentor team members on DevOps practices, tool usage, and operational best practices.
• Evaluate and integrate new DevOps tools and technologies to improve team productivity.
• Establish and enforce security practices throughout the infrastructure and deployment process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, operations, or DevOps roles.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
