Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Principal DevOps Engineer to lead our engineering team in the development and automation of robust cloud solutions. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to optimize software delivery workflows.
• Work closely with development teams to establish practices that improve code quality, maintainability, and performance.
• Automate system and application deployments in production and non-production environments.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshooting issues, providing resolution and escalation as needed.
• Lead daily scrum meetings and retrospective sessions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Prepare documentation for operational procedures and system configurations.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
• Strong expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ruby, etc.) and experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Proficient in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration systems like Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and configuration management.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred: Certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or related areas.
