Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid and safe deployment of applications.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, utilizing tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of services.
• Collaborate with software development teams to promote best practices in application design and deployment.
• Establish security protocols and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead efforts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline processes to improve productivity.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance the DevOps workflow.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote DevOps practices within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, operations, or related fields.
• Proven experience with DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or equivalent) to automate processes.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.

Technologies & Tools

In this role, you will engage with a variety of technologies and tools, including but not limited to AWS or GCP for cloud services, Docker and Kubernetes for containerization, Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC, Jenkins or GitHub Actions for CI/CD, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana. Familiarity with Git for version control and operational excellence practices is also essential.
